We're kicking off our GOTY for this year by working up a sweat.
We’re kicking off our game of the year (GOTY) awards today in a feature that will run all the way until the end of this hellscape known as 2020.
Stevivor’s Best Sports or Racing game of 2020
We had a very clear winner in this category in the form of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2.
“As a recreation it highlights how good the original games were for their time,” Jay said in his review. “Challenging, original, addictive and damn fun to play. If you’re in your 30s, it’s absolutely worth a trip down memory lane. If you were born after the original games were released, give it a crack, even if only for the opportunity to experience some quality video game history.”
Coincidentally, those interested in the game may want to keep an eye on the website next week…
Runners-up in the Best Sports of Racing game category for 2020 include PGA Tour 21, DiRT 5, F1 2020 and NHL 21.
