Hands-down, we have a new Indie champion.
Our week continues with yet another Stevivor game of the year (GOTY) award for 2020. Today: best independent game.
Stevivor’s Indie game of 2020
This was a category full of amazing titles, though Supergiant’s Hades walked away a clear winner.
While we didn’t get a chance to review the roguelike action RPG, that’s not stopped our staffers from devouring it across Windows PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch. We’re also crossing our fingers for an eventual release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Runners-up in the Best Indie category for 2020 include Phobia Game Studio’s Carrion, Aussie developer SMG Studio’s Moving Out, Shiny Shoe’s Monster Train and Kinetic Games’ Phasmophobia.
