Welcome to our Mixtape Achievement/Trophy guide and roadmap! You’re going to have fun with this one.

Mixtape‘s Achievements and Trophies aren’t too difficult to complete; we’d recommend just playing through the full game first to experience the story, then jumping into chapter select to finish off things you may have missed. 

Achievements and Trophies are detailed below in the chronological order you could unlock them in.

Mixtape Achievement, Trophy, and Challenge guide

• Thrashed: Ollie a car.
  • We completed this in Chapter 1, Skate to Rockford’s. To ollie on PS5, press X (or A on Xbox); wait for the sporty white car to drive by on the left and jump it! This, presumably, can be done in other skateboarding sections.
• Front To Back: Find everything in the bedrooms and all unique conversations.
  • This one takes place over multiple chapters and requires the following:
  • Chapter 2, Rockford’s House: 
    • Stereo, photo, and painting in the hallway
    • Cloth in the bathroom outside Stacy’s room
    • CD on the tall bookshelf

• French Connection: Kiss for 60 seconds.
  • This is in Chapter 3, The Kiss. You might as well move those tongues around while waiting for a full minute to pass. 
• Smooth Shopper: Don’t crash once while escaping in the shopping cart.
  • This is done in Chapter 5, Shopping Cart Bomb. Protect the cart at all costs!
• Goodbye, Stacey’s Room: Complete all memories in Rockford’s room.
  • This appears to be a story-based unlock that should trigger around Chapter 7, Debbie’s Bedroom.
• Grunge Metal Alchemist: Make Slater’s secret slushy recipe.
  • This occurs in Chapter 8, Ultimate Slushie. This is made by combining Blue Crush, Bubblegum, Lime, and Orange — and is detailed later on thanks to a poster in Slater’s room.
• Cone Island, Baby.: Knock over 10 traffic cones during the skate from Rockford’s house.
  • This is done in Chapter 11, Skate to Cassandra’s. Make sure to target every traffic cone you see (we hit the long, thin ones too just for good measure).  
• Skim Gordon: Throw a stone through the tyre swing.
  • This is done in Chapter 12, Skipping Stones. Aim for the tyre swing on the right-hand side and then let loose.
• Instructions Not Required: Complete minimaster assembly in under 15 seconds.
  • This is in Chapter 13, Cassandra’s House. The Minimaster is the Game Boy looking thing found on a desk. Here, you’ll need to flip the minimaster around, pop its battery cover, and place the two batteries in the right way, all in under 15 seconds.
• And It’s Outta There!: Hit only home runs as Cassandra.
  • This is obtained in Chapter 14, Softball. Your performance as Rockford doesn’t matter, but you’ll need to hit every single ball with Cassandra to get this. One strike and you’re out (or will need to start again).
• Triple Ply: Throw 50 rolls at the house.
  • This is done in Chapter 15, Toilet Paper Attack. We moved around a bit as we threw TP, but you might just be okay standing in one place. Have fun with it.
• It’s The Pigs, Darling: Hit 3 pig balloons.
  • You can get this in Chapter 16, Floating on Sadness. A series of large pig balloons will appear after you go through some shops and head up into the sky; you’ll be able to target every second one.
• Don’t. Move.: Take 20 photos in Bodacious Cretaceous.
  • This is done in Chapter 18, also called Bodacious Cretaceous. I just took twenty photos immediately, but you can also just take a bunch as the narrative unfolds.
• Matching The Drapes: Complete all memories in Cassandra’s room.
  • This will automatically unlock after Chapter 18, Bodacious Cretaceous.
• Appetite For Destruction: Explode all objects on your way to the secret hideout.
  • This comes in Chapter 19, Skateboard Explosion. I just mashed LT and RT and that seemed to do the trick.
• Paint it, Black, If You Want.: Paint the entire door in under 30 seconds.
  • This is found in Chapter 21, Door Painting. You have just enough time to do this with the large paint roller; we held RT down and immediately went up to the top of the roof, then released RT to position the brush for a full run down, holding RT to paint again, and then repeated that process. Move, move, move!
• Sofa King Fast: Get the couch in place within 30 seconds.
  • This is in Chapter 22, Couch Moving. You don’t have a lot of time to do this; always be moving sticks to the right (and up and down as needed to get all the way to the right-side of the screen) and mash that drop button when the zone goes green.
• Leaves That Are Green: Clear the leaves in under 45 seconds.
  • This is found in Chapter 23, Leaf Sweeping. I powered up the broom to get big chunks of leaves out of the way, then worked my way around the circle to ensure it was clear. Good luck.
• From The Hip: Hit all the cans in under 30 seconds.
  • You’ll find this in Chapter 24, Slingshot. In our experience, you need to get all cans and bottles — so everything on the car — to earn this.
• Doppelbanger: Knock over all the character cut outs in the video store.
  • This is in Chapter 26, Starlight Video, alongside the Tapehead Graveyard Achievement/Trophy. Target the cutouts at the ends of shelves and around the outer walls of the store and you’ll be right. You have all the time you need; you need to actually rent tapes to finish this chapter.
• Tapehead Graveyard: Knock 200 VHS tapes off the shelves in the video store.
  • This is in Chapter 26, Starlight Video, alongside the Doppelbanger Achievement/Trophy. Use RT to hold out your hand and peel tapes of all the shelves until this unlocks. You have all the time you need; you need to actually rent tapes to finish this chapter.
• Eight Minute Odyssey: Complete all memories in Slater’s room.
  • This is an auto-unlock that comes after Chapter 26, Starlight Video.
• Well, Take A Look At You: Don’t miss a single jump or slide while rescuing Cassandra.
  • This is earned in Chapter 27, The Run. 
• Banned In Massachusetts: Don’t miss any fireworks in the coastal cruise.
  • This is in Chapter 28, Coastal Cruise. I just mashed LT and RT and that seemed to do the trick.
• Fight For Your Right: Acquire all the items at the party.
  • This takes place in Chapter 29, Party at the Ritz. Look for prompts to accept items from party-goers, then take everything. You can use the video prompts to help you move around the space.
• Last Song: Complete the game.
  • Automatically earned after completing Chapter 30, Finale. Congratulations!
