It’s a new week, and we’re kicking off a fresh batch of Stevivor game of the year (GOTY) awards. Today, 2020’s best action or action-adventure game.

This was another closely contested race, though Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order managed to secure first place. Technically, it was a 2019 game, but we’re operating on the same awards cycle as The Game Awards, given we’re a judging outlet.
“It’s the blend of all these elements that makes Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order the gripping single-player Star Wars game we have been waiting for all generation,” Ben said in his review.
Runners-up in the Best RPG category for 2020 include Ori and the Will of the Wisps, The Last of Us Part 2, Resident Evil 3 and Carrion.
