We’ve made it to the final week of Stevivor’s game of the year (GOTY) awards! Today, we’re celebrating the year’s best Switch game.
Stevivor’s Best Switch game of 2020
The Switch may have had a bit of an off year when it comes to first-party exclusives, but it’s hard to deny the quality of the titles that Nintendo does offer. Stevivor’s staffers have selected Animal Crossing New Horizons as not only a great Switch game but one that helped to make coronavirus lockdown a lot easier to manage.
It sadly came a little too late for Stevivor to review, but there’s no denying our staff members used the title as an escape in the middle of the pandemic, focusing on our islands and visiting those of others as a way to socialise and destress.
Runners-up in this category include 51 Worldwide Games and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity.
