The catalogue expands...
Netflix will add the likes of Hades, Death’s Door and more to its subscription service, vastly expanding its game offering.
The following titles will soon be available to those with a Netflix subscription:
Hades
An iOS version of Stevivor’s 2020 game of the year, Hades, is coming to Netflix’s subscription service in 2024.
We really, really like Hades — it nabbed our Best Indie, Best Narrative and Best Direction awards in 2020 and was also runner-up in our Best Audio & Sound category.
Hades is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
Death’s Door
Titan Souls’ Acid Nerve delivered Death’s Door onto Windows PC and Xbox One back in 2021, and now it’s heading to mobile via Netflix. Since its release, it’s also made the jump to PlayStation (and was a freebie in August 2023).
Death’s Door is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
Braid Anniversary Edition
Announced way back in 2020, a mobile version of Braid Anniversary Edition will be exclusive to Netflix subcribers when it finally arrives.
Braid was first released on the Xbox 360 back in 2008; releases on Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch have followed.
Katana Zero
Katana Zero is an action platformer that will also make the jump over to Netflix via mobile in 2024.
Katana Zero is currenly available on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox One and Switch and was first released in 2019.
Shadow and Bone Enter the Fold
Enter the Fold is based off popular Netflix show Shadow and Bone and hopefully preceeds an announcement of a third season renewal.
Shadow and Bone Enter the Fold is a narrative adventure featuring Alina, Jesper, Sturmhond, and General Kirigan, and is set between the show’s first and second seasons.
Money Heist
Money Heist is also based off a Netflix show, this time a Spanish heist thriller.
This interactive title revolves around the original show’s crew as they work La Perla de Barcelona.
The Dragon Prince Xadia
Yet another game based off a popular Netflix series, The Dragon Prince Xadia is a top-down hack-and-slash affair made by Wonderstorm. The title will also head to PC.
The Dragon Prince itself will begin its sixth season in 2024.
Chicken Run Eggstraction
Finally, Aardman Animations is hard at work on Chicken Run Eggstraction, a real-time stealth game based on the popular film.
Expect Chicken Run Eggstraction from 2024.
