Deathloop.
Stevivor’s Game of the Year awards for 2021 are moving at full steam ahead! Today, we award honours to Best Direction.
Taking home its second win of Stevivor’s GOTY 2021 awards program is none other than Deathloop, a title that needed tight, focused direction to be able to produce its timey-wimey story and gameplay.
“Deathloop offers up a highly enjoyable gameplay loop shrouded in mystery,” I wrote in my review. “I do wonder how many players will actually endeavour to break the loop as compared to those who’ll simply jump into the sandbox to see what kind of mischief they can get up to.”
Deathloop has previously taken home the honour of Best Action within our 2021 GOTY series.
Stevivor’s GOTY continues throughout December; a schedule is below.
Congratulations (again!) to Arkane and Bethesda for this win!
