Ghosts it ain't.
We’re almost through the first week of this year’s awards program, and today’s category is Best Multiplayer Game of 2022.
In this category, Stevivor staffers voted and awarded Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 the honour.
“Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer package looks to simplify proceedings on the battlefield, while increasing complexity with far deeper weapon customisation off it,” Ben wrote in his review.
“It slows down the combat loop of its predecessor – and considerably more compared to the frantic pace of last year’s Vanguard – to deliver a classic Modern Warfare experience that’s the closest game in years to Call of Duty 4.”
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
