Remember Spidey?
Spider-Man is still on track for a 2021 release inside Avengers on PlayStation consoles, developer Crystal Dynamics has recently confirmed.
The news comes from Senior Game Director Scott Walters, who made the affirmation to ScreenRant.
“In terms of what we can say now, we’ve always scheduled and looked to bring Spider-Man out in 2021 for PlayStation owners,” Walters said. “That is still on track, so we’ll have more announcements later on this year.”
There are only four and a half months left in the year (can you believe it?!?) so time’s a ticking. Spider-Man was confirmed as a PlayStation-exclusive character before the game was released; it was confirmed earlier this year that he’d be available after Black Panther.
Avengers is preparing itself for a huge new content injection in the form of War for Wakanda, its latest expansion. Heading to all platforms on 18 August in Australia, the expansion will add none other than the Black Panther as a playable character.
Avengers is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia.
