Snipperclips is now a Nintendo Switch launch title, confirmed for Australia

UPDATE: Nintendo Australia has confirmed Snipperclips is a Switch launch title from the eShop for $30. No word on if we’ll be getting the Joy-Con bundle announced for Europe.

Original story: Nintendo Switch now has three first party launch titles, with Snipperclips – Cut it Out, Together! promoted from somewhere in March to launch day.

Vooks noticed the Japanese game page has been updated to reflect the change to 3 March. We don’t have confirmation of an Australian release date, but it’s unlikely Nintendo would have pushed to have it ready only for Japan on launch day, considering it’s light on spoken or written language.

The co-op puzzle game is one of our most anticipated Switch games, and provides some of the best couch co-op we’ve played in a long time.

The Australian launch date mightn’t be confirmed yet, but we can tell it will cost $30 from the eShop as a digital-only title.
