Super Nintendo World will open inside Universal Studios Hollywood on 17 February, it and Nintendo have today announced.
The opening of the US-based entertainment park will coincide with the release of the Super Mario Bros animated movie starring Chris Pratt.
The Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge ride is the focal point of the park, an augmented-reality go-kart simulator complete with AR Koopa shells and more. Other attractions include the Toadstool Cafe, the 1-Up Factory merch store and more.
A second US-based Super Nintendo World is planned for Universal Studios Florida; the first Super Nintendo World is based in Japan.
