More Avengers PlayStation exclusive content in Challenges, cosmetics

Avengers has even more PlayStation exclusive content in the form of Community Challenges and cosmetics, Sony and Crystal Dynamics have today advised.

Following on from yesterday’s announcement that Spider-Man would be a PlayStation-exclusive hero, it’s now been revealed that PlayStation players can work together to best specific Community Challenges for additional in-game rewards and will gain access to cosmetic bundle packs ahead of other platforms.

“Community Challenges are goals that the community must reach as a whole to gain rewards for everyone,” Crystal Dynamics’ Andy Wong advised. “Although we won’t go into detail now on the exact goals and rewards, we can tell you that there will not be a difficult barrier of entry, so everyone can pitch in to reap the benefits of the reward. Each month, a new Community Challenge will take place with different goals to keep you on your feet. Stay tuned for more information closer to launch on the first challenge!”

The post continues on to mention that PlayStation platforms will “provide additional advantages” as compared to Windows PC or Xbox One. Moreover, PS4 and PS5 will have 30-days exclusive access to a Legendary Outfit, Emote, Epic Takedown and Nameplate for each hero as they’re released alongside a free cosmetic bundle for each hero if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Avengers heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 4 September and will release on Xbox Series X and PS5 when the consoles are released. A series of betas take place over this month.
