Stevivor’s Best PC Game of 2023

Not only is this the last of our Stevivor Game of the Year Awards 2023 posts before Christmas, it’s the start of our platform-specific honours. Today, the best PC game of 2023.

Now, let it be known that whilst we do have a couple of PC gamers here on staff, most of us are console folk. On top of that, the number of platform exclusives out there is debatable. Is it truly an exclusive if a game is on both Xbox and PC? Yes, and no. It’s complicated.

Regardless, Stevivor staffers chose to award this honour to none other than Star Trek Infinite.

“Despite… issues, Star Trek Infinite is a glorious strategy game just dripping in canon and nostalgia,” Steve wrote in his review. “I love it sometimes — and hate it in others — but I’ll be damned if it hasn’t taken up my thoughts during most waking moments as I sit pondering how to better deal with the Nausicaans, integrate Bajor or fight the Borg.”
