Another week, another set of Stevivor Game of the Year Awards 2023 to give away. We’re starting out the week with honours for the best indie game of 2023.
Though there were a number of well deserving titles that could have walked away with the award, Stevivor staffers chose to honour Cocoon.
Announced back in 2022, Cocoon is the latest from the brains behind Limbo and Inside. From those titles alone, you should know it’s pretty darn good.
“In the sea of maximalist works we saw over the past week between the various shows and showcases, Cocoon stands boldly as something altogether minimalist and specific,” Jam said of the title when they previewed it at Summer Game Fest.
Better yet, Cocoon is currently available on Xbox Game Pass, on PC Game Pass and through Xbox Cloud Gaming on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
