Xbox One beats PS4 for the fourth month in a row in US, second in AUS, UK

The Xbox One trumped PS4 in terms of October 2016 sales, making it the lead console in the USA for the fourth month in a row.

Sales figures also showed that the Xbox One has been the leading console in Australia and the UK for the last two months.

“We’d like to thank our fans for their continued support and passion for Xbox in Australia,” said Jeremy Hinton, Xbox Business Lead at Microsoft Australia.

“It’s great to see such enthusiasm for the new Xbox One S & Forza Horizon 3, as well as the range of exclusive bundles including Gears of War 4, Battlefield 1, FIFA 17 and Minecraft – all of which are available now. With the upcoming launches of Dead Rising 4 this December and Halo Wars 2 in February 2017, there has never been a better time to be an Xbox gamer.”

Those figures mightn’t hold up over November; the PS4 Pro launched in many regions yesterday, 10 November. You can read more about the PS4 Pro here.
