Wolverine PS5 game coming from Spider-Man’s Insomniac

Get excited!

A new Wolverine PS5 game is in the works by Spider-Man‘s Insomniac Games, the studio has today announced.

The news was dropped at the same time Insomniac detailed Spider-Man 2 would head to the PS5 in 2023.

Wolverine is directed by Brian Hornton and Cameron Christian, who served as creative director and game director of Spider-Man Miles Morales, respectively.

“In the vein of our Spider-Man games, our goal here is to not only respect the DNA of what makes the character so popular, but also look for opportunities to make it feel fresh and truly reflect the Insomniac spirit,” the studio wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

Insomniac also confirmed that Wolverine “is very early in development”.

We’ll keep you informed when more on Wolverine is offered. Until then, you can expect Spider-Man 2 on PS5 in 2023.
