A special Super Mario Maker 2 bundle will include 12-months of Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo’s multiplayer subscription service.
“If you’re not already a Nintendo Switch Online member, this Super Mario Maker 2 + Nintendo Switch Online Bundle might be perfect for you—it’s available as both a physical and digital release and includes a 12-month Individual Membership for Nintendo Switch Online,” Nintendo said in the bundle’s USA-based description. The American-focused bundle is priced at $69.99 USD.
The Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required to share levels and take part in multiplayer action inside Super Mario Maker 2. It’s similarly required for multiplayer in other games and also offers up a selection of NES and SNES titles each month.
Update: Nintendo Australia has confirmed the bundle is priced at $94.95 AUD or $106.45 NZD.
Expect Super Mario Maker 2 on Nintendo Switch in June 2019.
