Spyro A Realm Beyond announced, coming from Toys for Bob

No release date was detailed.

Spyro A Realm Beyond was today announced at the Xbox Games Showcase, in development by Toys for Bob.

The title was shown off using a “cinematic announce trailer” ahead of the game’s planned mid-2027 launch.

“Take flight on a brand-new adventure through a strange and wondrous realm,” Microsoft and Toys for Bob said of the title. “When Spyro finds himself stranded, his journey to discover a way home is interrupted by the arrival of a vicious invading force known as the Scavs.”

“Spyro must make new allies and rise to protect this realm before it’s changed forever. Feel the freedom of flight as you soar above vibrant landscapes, weave between treetops, dive off massive landmarks and wing your way through this new realm in Spyro’s boldest evolution yet,” the trailer’s description continued.

“Carve your path through the skies and chain together dives, climbs and tight turns as you navigate the world your way.”

Spryo A Realm Beyond is planned for a mid-2027 launch on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series S, PS5, Switch 2, and through Xbox Game Pass.
