Fable to star Hayley Atwell, Susan Wokoma, more

Still delayed to February next year.

The recently-delayed Fable has confirmed more of its star-studded cast, including Hayley Atwell and Susan Wokoma, who both join the already-announced Richard Ayoade.

Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter), will play Isabel, described by Playground Games and Microsoft as “a powerful Hero with a tragic past. A former pupil of Guildmaster Humphry the Golden, her obsession with righting Albion’s wrongs has driven her to darkness in her search for answers.”

Susan Wokoma (Taskmaster, Sex Education) will play Arden the Cobbler, described as “a Hero who doesn’t believe in Heroes, haunted by a painful past and a grave mistake. Arden’s humble perspective on what it means to be a Hero contrasts many of the other characters in our story. She doesn’t want to be a celebrity. She doesn’t want to be worshipped. She just wants to make shoes for a living,” by Playground’s Craig Owens.

Fable will also feature Lily Nichol and Ukweli Roach as the Hero of Briar Hill, Matt King as Humphry, Natasia Demetriou as Jenny, Nathan Foad as Jacob, Kwane Augustine as Connor, Nina Wadia as Grandma, and Robert Whitelock as Nigel the Sheriff.

The title’s Standard Edition will set Aussies back $109.95 AUD, while a Premium Edition will cost $149.95 AUD. The Premium Edition comes with five-day early access to the title.

Expect Fable from 23 February 2027 on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and through Xbox Game Pass.
