Sony offers automatic refunds for digital copies of Last of Us Part 2, Iron Man VR

Sony will offer automatic refunds to those who pre-ordered digital versions of both The Last of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR because of indefinite delays to each.

The Last of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR have been delayed,” a banner on the Sony support site reads.

“All digital pre-order consumers will automatically receive a refund. Please check your email for more details.”

Notice of the delays was given in early April, with Sony citing logistics concerns as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

“We want to make sure everyone gets to play The Last of Us Part 2 around the same time, ensuring that we’re doing everything possible to preserve the best experience for everyone,” developer Naughty Dog added to Sony’s statement. “This meant delaying the game until such a time where we can solve these logistics issues.”

We’ll let you know when you can expect The Last of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR on PS4.
