Skull and Bones release date now set for 2022-2023

If you're looking forward to it, you need to continue to be patient.

Ubisoft’s Skull & Bones release date has been set as sometime in 2022 and 2023, the publisher recently divulged.

“Ubisoft also expects to release a solid and well-diversified line-up, including premium and F2P [free-to-play] titles,” a financial year 2021 earnings report reads.

“The year will notably see the release of Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Riders Republic, The Division Heartland and Roller Champions,” it continued. “Skull and Bones will now be released in 2022-23.”

The oft-delayed title was first announced in 2017, then delayed into 2019, then delayed into 2020… and then we basically stopped hearing about it. Reports in mid-2020 suggested Ubisoft was rebooting the concept.

We’ll let you know when we hear more of Skull & Bones.
