Select PS4, Xbox One free-play trials taking place from this weekend

Both Sony and Microsoft have announced free-play trials on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live this weekend.

First, Sony is offering PS4 users in North America and Europe a free PlayStation Plus trial, meaning they’ll be able to access multiplayer gameplay without the need for a subscription. The trial runs in North America between 17-23 February, and in Europe between 22-26 February. It’s likely Australians will be able to take advantage of the European trial. You’ll need to own titles to take online to play.

Next, Microsoft has announced an Xbox Live Multiplayer All Access event this weekend, offering up free access to both NBA 2K17 and Rocket League. Both titles can be played at no cost during this time, and interested gamers are always welcome to purchase the titles once the event finishes.

Enjoy your weekend!
