A place of darkness, where skeleton crews roam is coming to Sea of Thieves – two places, in fact, as Microsoft announced a double dose of DLC for Rare’s multiplayer mayhem.
Cursed Sails is coming in July, with Forsaken Shores to follow in September.
We didn’t see any gameplay in the announcement trailer, so it’s unclear if either will bring any meaningful new objectives or things to do, or if they’re merely new maps to explore with a few new threats to face.
We also don’t know if Game Pass players will be able to access the DLC without buying it. Other games have required DLC to be bought separately, but Microsoft will want to keep its pirate community together.
