Report: Target’s website suggests the PS4’s price in the US will be cut by $50

Target’s website in North America briefly posted, then pulled an advertisement suggesting that the PlayStation 4 would be receiving a price cut in the region.

While the ad has been removed, IGN managed to grab a screenshot (featured image above) which reads “$50 price drop on the PS4. The best place to play now $349.99.” During Sony’s press conference at TGS 2015, it was announced that in Japan the PS4 would be reduced from ¥39,980 to ¥34,980; roughly $50 USD.

Although the ad has been removed, gamers in North America can take advantage of 3 deals on PS4 bundles at Target. Each of the bundles includes a 500GB PS4 and a $50 gift voucher, along with a copy of the bundled game of course. The bundles are white PS4 Destiny bundle, The Last of Us bundle and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection bundle.

Later in the year fans will also be able to get their hands on a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 1TB PS4 bundle and a Darth Vader inspired Star Wars: Battlefront PS4 bundle while Xbox fans can look forward to a Fallout 4 bundleRise of the Tomb Raider bundle, a 1TB Xbox One with Rare Replay, Ori and the Blind Forest and Gears of War Ultimate and a Halo 5: Guardians bundle.

Which one will you bet getting your hands on?
