PlayStation to Discord linking available later today in the USA

We're looking at the first step of an ongoing partnership here...

PlayStation to Discord linking will be available later today to those in the USA, the pair have recently advised.

Much like you can already do with Battle.net, Spotify, YouTube, Facebook, Xbox acccounts (and more!), players will be able to link their PlayStation account to their Discord ID.

Once that’s done, fellow Discord users will be able to see what you’re playing on PlayStation at any given time (provided you toggle that feature on, of course).

To link an account inside Discord, head to User Settings > Connections and complete the required information. You’ll be able to import new friends and turn your current status on or off on the same page.

Access to link accounts will be rolled out “gradually” and only inside the USA at first. We’ll let you know when the functionality rolls out to more regions.

Last year, Sony and Discord announced a partnership that will integrate Discord into PlayStation by sometime this year.
