PlayStation Classic won’t have post-launch games added to it

The PlayStation Classic was announced last week, though only some of its twenty total games were detailed. Sony hasn’t named the other games as yet, but it has confirmed that no post-launch games will be added to the console.

“There are no plans to bring new content to the PlayStation Classic post-launch,” a PlayStation rep has since confirmed after the console’s initial announcement.

It’s also been confirmed that the PlayStation Classic will not have networking features, and therefore will not be able to connect to the PlayStation Network.

So far, only five of the console’s twenty games have been announced. They are Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.

The PlayStation Classic will be available from 3 December and will retail for $149.99 AUD.
