Pentiment, Grounded heading to PlayStation and Switch

Surprise?

Xbox has today confirmed that Pentiment and Grounded will head to both PlayStation and Switch. Pentiment will be available on new platforms from tomorrow, 23 February, here in Australia.

Pentiment is already available on Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S & X, and will head to PS4, PS5, and Switch tomorrow.

“If you enjoy story-driven affairs with choices that impact the world in which you’re playing, Pentiment is worth a playthrough,” Courtney said in our 2022 review. “The historical narrative adventure is perfect if you don’t want to play something that requires a high level of skill, but you still want to enjoy a rich history and impactful choices.”

Obsidian’s Grounded is also available on Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S & X, and will be available on PS4, PS5, and Switch from 16 April.

Grounded is well-presented and cutesy, but entirely not for me. While its exploration elements were enjoyable, combat was clumsy and boring and I’m never one for crafting for crafting’s sake,” I said of the game in a 2020 preview. “Still, there are a lot of you out there who’d disagree with me on that point, and as such, this title’s one you should keep an eye out for.”

Alongside this multiplatform news, Microsoft also confirmed that Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves will be made available to PlayStation players.
