Obi-Wan Kenobi heads to Fortnite; here’s how to get the skin

Earn it, or buy it.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is Fortnite‘s latest edition, and we’ve got the skinny on how to get your hands on the new skin.

First, a special Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup will take place on 22 May. The Duos comp will provide players with their first chance to obtain the new skin (seen above).

Players who wish to participate will need an account level of 50 and will need to place in the top percentages in their region, as follows:

  • Europe: Top 1,250
  • NA East: Top 750
  • NA West: Top 250
  • Brazil: Top 400
  • Asia: Top 150
  • Oceania: Top 100
  • Middle East: Top 100

Those who win the skin in the comp will also get Obi-Wan’s back bling.

If you’re unable to nab the skin in the comp, you can wait until 10.00 am AEST on 27 May; that’s when the Obi-Wan Kenobi skin will be made available in the Fortnite shop. Obi-Wan, a Desert Essentials back bling, a blade pickaxe, emote and Jedi Interceptor glider will also be available.

Obi-Wan’s addition is in celebration of Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi, a new limited series that debuts on Disney+ here in Australia from 27 May.

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. It’s also available on iOS, Android and PC via cloud-based streaming.
