If your home entertainment setup strategically hides its matted cables, good news! The Nintendo Switch dock is nice and tidy.
We knew the HDMI and AC adapter cables subtly attached to the black dock from previews, but it wasn’t until plugging it in this morning that I discovered how easily it all works.
The back panel of the dock folds way for easy access to the HDMI port, AD adapter plug and a (currently unused) USB 3.0 port. It gives you plenty of space to fiddle around with the connections, and then tucks them away, directing the cords through a single opening.
There are also two more accessible USB 2.0 ports on the outside of the dock, which can be used to charge the Pro Controller or Joy-Con Charging Grip (both sold separately).
