Nintendo has “no plans” to release Skyward Sword on Switch

Nintendo has “no plans” to release The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch, it has recently confirmed.

Mere days after rumours that Skyward Sword would be ported to Switch, Nintendo’s quashed them.

“At this time we have no plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch,” a Nintendo representative told Eurogamer.

Nice and simple, eh? At the moment, it’s unclear why Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma would have hinted at the release at a recent Zelda concert in Japan (as reported by patrons). We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

For now, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is currently available on both Wii and Wii U.
