Microsoft is putting its monthly Xbox One updates on hold across the holiday season to make sure that the platform is as stable as possible.
According to Director of Program Management Mike Ybarra we won’t be seeing any new updates until February 2016 because the holiday period isn’t a good time for consumers or the development team to be dealing with new features.
This is a good move as Microsoft are likely expecting a huge swell in Xbox One sales over the holiday period after the string of triple-A releases this Summer.
