Norman Reedus pleads Del Toro/Kojima Silent Hills “needs to happen”

Speaking with IGN, The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus showed a lot of love for the cancelled Silent Hills project that would have involved Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and renowned film director Guillermo del Toro.

One of the quotes from Reedus was “I just can’t see us not picking this up somewhere”, though he didn’t elaborate on whether any other parties had approached Kojima and Del Toro about picking up a project. With Silent Hill still owned by an increasingly disinterested Konami, chances are it would have to be an original property should the collaboration go ahead.

You can read the full interview over at IGN. For the moment it is all speculation and hope, but if all parties involved really want to do this the combination is too enticing to not be picked up somewhere, sometime. Until then we can only hope.
