Earn Overwatch League Tokens by watching matches on Twitch

Update: Previously available to our friends over in New Zealand, Blizzard has today confirmed that the program is now available in Australia. Rejoice!

Original story: Overwatch League spectators will be able to earn Overwatch League Tokens just by watching matches on Twitch, the streamer has confirmed.

Those spectators that link their Blizzard Battle.net account to Twitch will be able to earn one token per live map finish, while an unnamed percentage of viewers will also win 100 tokens at the end of each livestream.

Roughly, that means viewers will be able to earn 3-4 tokens per hour, unless they hit it big and win the 100 token bonus as well. The tokens — 100 of ’em, in fact — can be used to buy a single, special, Overwatch League skin for the game’s characters. Normally, 100 tokens will set you back $4.99 USD.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
