Nintendo has announced Dr. Mario World is coming to iOS and Android in early winter (southern hemisphere) 2019 — that probably means June. With the delay of Mario Kart Tour, Nintendo is releasing two mobile games in close proximity this year.
It is being developed by LINE Corporation as part of a new partnership to co-develop mobile games with Nintendo.
Dr. Mario first appeared on the NES in 1990/91, and is a Tetris-style puzzle game with a Nintendo flavour.
Like other Nintendo mobile games, it will be free-to-play with in-app purchases.
