Mario Kart Tour mobile game delayed until winter 2019

Mario Kart Tour, the Mushroom Kingdom’s first foray into mobile racing on iOS and Android, has been delayed until the southern hemisphere’s winter, giving it a new release window between June – August 2019.

“Our developers need more time to tinker under the hood to deliver the best possible Mario Kart experience for mobile,” said Nintendo on social media.

“Apologies to everyone revving up their engines for the planned pre-April launch, Mario Kart Tour is now gearing up for the starting grid in summer winter 2019!”

Nintendo America forgot seasons aren’t global, but Nintendo ANZ has our back and flipped the seasons in its shared post.
