Diablo Immortal is a mobile MMO action-RPG for iOS and Android

Diablo Immortal was announced at BlizzCon today and promises to bring a full MMO action-RPG experience to iOS and Android devices.

Set between Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and the start of Diablo 3, Diablo Immortal features six playable characters classes: Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard. As a constantly evolving experience, new classes, storylines and challenges will be added after launch.

While Diablo Immortal can be played alone, it’s best to team up with your friends; those already close, or others you meet in the central hub, Westmarch, where you will socialise, upgrade gear and form groups before setting off.

Touchscreen controls are a big departure from keyboard and mouse or controller, but co-developers Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase have attempted to make the transition as seamless as possible. They’ve been simplified, using directional controls to move your character and a simple hold and release on the screen to activate and aim a skill.

Register on the Diablo Immortal website to earn “special rewards” and be amongst the first to be invited to future beta tests.
