Bungie has confirmed that the Destiny 2 new Iron Banner map will be part of the Crucible’s regular rotation next week.
The map, Distant Shore, is currently available in the high-skill mode. After Iron Banner is complete, the map will be playable in the Crucible’s Quickplay and Competitive playlists.

Iron Banner has already begun and ends at 8.00 pm AEDST on Tuesday, 17 October. The event brings specialised gear — and an added challenge, of course. Like Trials of the Nine, the mode isn’t depending on Power… though that should change in subsequent installments.
Have you had a chance to try Iron Banner out yet? What do you think of Destiny 2‘s newest event?
Destiny 2 is currently available on Xbox One and PS4; it heads to Windows PC later in the month. The game’s Leviathan Prestige Raid has been delayed into next week as well.
