Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 pre-order bonuses include one-week early access to its campaign alongside a host of other goodies.
Actually, make that “up to” one-week of time, “based on estimated access,” Activision Blizzard clarified in a disclaimer. “Actual play time subject to possible outages and applicable time zone differences.”
Despite that small footnote, this is a pretty big deal. Combine additional pre-order bonuses like access to the game’s multiplayer open beta, and you’ll basically be playing Modern Warfare 2 from now until its actual release in late October. The only catch with the early access perk is that it’s only open to digital pre-orders; thinking about it, it would be rather difficult to get discs out to players one week before they’re supposed to be there.
Other pre-order benefits include:
