Call of Duty Vanguard betas detailed

Pre-order access starts first, followed by an open beta for all.

Details of three sets of Call of Duty Vanguard betas were today detailed by Sledgehammer Games and Activision Blizzard.

First, those who’ve pre-ordered Vanguard on PlayStation will gain a special early access beta that starts from 3.00 am AEST on 11 September and will run until 3.00 am AEST on 14 September (or 10 am PT on 10 September to 1.00 am PT on 13 September for our friends over in the USA) across PS4 and PS5.

A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required for either of the betas, but obviously will be when it comes to playing multiplayer in the full game.

Following this, an open beta will be available to all PlayStation owners on PS4 and PS5 an early access beta to those who’ve pre-ordered the game on Xbox and PC. The beta runs from starting 3.00 am AEST on 17 September (10 am PT on 16 September in the USA) and to 3.00 am AEST on 19 September (10 am PT on 18 September).

Finally, an open beta will be available to all on PC, Xbox and PlayStation between 3.00 am AEST on 19 September until 3.00 am AEST on 21 September (10 am PT on 18 September until the same time on 20 September).

The betas will mirror that of the recent hands-on preview that Stevivor took part in, meaning players will get to play Champion Hill, Patrol, TDM, Kill Confirmed and Domination on Hotel Royal, Red Star and Gavutu.

Call of Duty Vanguard heads to Windows PC, Xbox and PlayStation from 5 November 2021.You can head here to read our hands-on preview here.
