Bungie raises price of Destiny 2 Season Pass by 20%

Ready those wallets.

The price of the Destiny 2 standalone Season Pass will be increased by 20%, developer Bungie has confirmed.

A single Season Pass will jump from 1,000 Silver to 1,200 Silver, meaning Aussies will either need to buy three 500 Silver packs for $24 AUD in total, or a 1,700 Silver pack (1,000 Silver with 700 bonus Silver) for $21.95 AUD.

All-in-one Annual Pass pricing has not changed.

Bungie didn’t address the price hikes directly, but said the new rates will be the “new pricing for season passes in Lightfall‘s year for those looking to maximize their rewards with each new season”.

Bungie added that it will be “evaluating new approaches to post-launch content in the year of The Final Shape.”

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. Lightfall was introduced into the game from 1 March 2023 here in Australia.
