Bethesda working on games ” bigger than anything we’ve ever done”

Bethesda Game Studios is working on games far bigger than Skyrim and Fallout 4, says executive producer Todd Howard.

Howard told Glixel two unannounced “classically Bethesda” games are in the works, as well as a mobile title.

“We have two larger projects that are more classically the scale of what we do, but even bigger,” said Howard. “We overlap the projects so we’re working on them at the same time, but they’re staggered. I can’t talk a lot about them, but I can say that they’re bigger than anything we’ve ever done. They’re a bit different, but definitely in the wheelhouse that people are used to from us.”

At least one of those is likely to be announced at E3, where Bethesda will return with its Sunday (Monday, Australian time) press conference, despite Microsoft booking for the same afternoon.

Bethesda Game Studios released Fallout 4 in 2015 and followed it up with a bunch of DLC in 2016, then released Skyrim – Special Edition on PS4 and Xbox One. A version of Skyrim, not expected to match the Special Edition, is coming to Switch this year.
