Halo Infinite couch co-op possible using simple glitch

As always, though, perform the glitch at your own risk.

Halo Infinite couch co-op might have been cancelled by 343 Industries, but that’s not stopped players from discovering how to accomplish it using a simple glitch.

The glitch, of course, is not officially supported by Microsoft or 343 Industries and may have unforeseen consequences like ruining your game save, so if you’re wanting to try it out, keep that in mind.

If you’re still in, here’s what you’ll need to do:

  1. Launch into a Halo Infinite game
  2. Click “Play” and immediately enter your friends list
  3. When “loading map” appears on-screen, select and join a friend idling in the menu
  4. Leave the fireteam
  5. Select Custom Lobby > Server > Offline
  6. Connect additional controllers and gamertags

While it works across all console platforms, performance takes a bit hit on the last-gen Xbox One. Aim for an Xbox Series X if you can if serious about playing in this manner. Sadly, since you can only log into one Xbox account at a time on PC, this glitch isn’t available outside of Xbox consoles.

Halo Infinite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X; it’s also part of Xbox and PC Game Pass.
