Stevivor’s Game of the Year (GOTY) awards are in full swing and we’re keeping that going with a trophy for best action/adventure game of 2018.
This was another hotly contested category (and let’s face it — they all are), but our writers decided that Spider-Man was most deserving.
“Spider-Man absolutely nails the feeling of being Spider-Man (and Peter Parker too),” Steve wrote in his review. “It also acknowledges and demonstrates how important relationships are to Peter as well, something that lets the game pull at your heartstrings all throughout the experience. Spider-Man is a heroic masterpiece, and one certainly worth playing.”
Honourable mentions in this category go to God of War (PS4), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4), Far Cry 5 (Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4).
