Xenoblade Chronicles 3D launching in April with amiibo support

Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America have both taken to Twitter to announce and reconfirm that Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will launch in both regions in April, with amiibo support.

The remake of the Wii RPG will be exclusive to the New 3DS and will also make use of Nintendo’s amiibo. Those who own the Shulk figurine from Super Smash Bros. will be able to tap it on the 3DS’ lower screen and unlock in-game tokens.

StreetPass functionality will also allow players to earn tokens to unlock in-game content.
