Xbox Series S improves The Outer Worlds loading times significantly

A new video from Microsoft has shown off The Outer Worlds loading times compared against the current-gen Xbox One S and the next-gen Xbox Series S.

From the video below, Microsoft says that the current-gen One S takes 53 seconds to load, while the next-gen Series S cuts that down to just 11 seconds. Check it out for yourself below.

In addition to faster loading times, the Xbox Series consoles will also add HDR to titles even if it wasn’t in the current-gen version of the game. The Series S has also been confirmed to run improved versions of Xbox One S games, meaning you’ll also get more consistent framerates but won’t get 4K rendering.

The Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X go up for pre-order on 22 September ahead of a 10 November release.
