Xbox Series 2TB expansion card available December (512GB too!)

Need more space?

New Xbox Series 2TB expansion cards will be available in September, alongside a new 512GB option that will stand alongside the currently available 1TB card.

As with the 1TB card, the storage solutions aren’t exactly cheap: expect the 512GB to set you back $139.99 USD and the 2TB card $399.99 USD. The 1TB card is currently priced at $219.99 USD (or $349 AUD).

Developed in partnership with Seagate, the 512GB expansion card is available for pre-order in the USA via Walmart from today, while the 2TB card will go up for pre-order in November ahead of both cards’ early December release.

We’ve asked Microsoft Australia for local information and will report back when more is known.

Are you excited about the prospect of a 2TB SSD for your Xbox Series S or X? How do you feel about a potential $530+ AUD price?
