Xbox and Starfield Showcase will last around two hours, drops first-party CG trailers

Worth setting an alarm for?

The Xbox and Starfield Showcase — timed for next Monday here in Australia — will run for approximately two hours, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has stated.

Moreover, Greenberg said that the events will not feature CG trailers, nor movie trailers.

The exec took to Twitter to first state that the events will feature, “[r]oughly two hours of non stop games, games, games, games, and Starfield” and that “[n]one of our first party games in the show are full CG trailers.

“Everything is either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics,” he said. “Each of our trailers will be labeled so it is hopefully clear for our fans.”

The double-feature event takes place at 3.00 om AEST on 12 June 2023 here in Australia. You can find out more about the event here.
