World of Tanks rolling onto Xbox One in 2015 with cross-platform support

World of Tanks is coming to Xbox One this year Wargaming announced today. The free-to-play tank battle game was released for Xbox 360 in February 2014 and has since seen over 5 million downloads.

At release, the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions will share battle servers meaning that Xbox players (regardless of generation) will be able to play with and against one another. If players choose to upgrade from Xbox 360 to Xbox One all of their progress will carry over and they’ll be able to continue playing right from where they left off, albeit in a much prettier setting.
