World of Tanks on PS4 runs at 1080p and 60fps

When World of Tanks launches on PS4 it will run at 1080p and at 60fps and will be visually “more sophisticated” than the PC version.

Speaking with DualShockers, Marketing Product Manager Max Chuvalov revealed the title’s resolution and framerate as well as revealing that the PS4 version will benefit from standard hardware so that the graphics and visuals are consistent across the board.

With PC, Wargaming has to ensure the title will work across a wide array of hardware and estimates that 60% of gamers use low to mid-range hardware. Whereas with PS4 hardware, the developer has the benefit of consistency and can create high definition visuals, textures, maps and weather effects.

World of Tanks will launch on PS4 with all maps, tanks, environments, weather effects and day night cycle.

World of Tanks is a free-to-play title currently available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
