Watch Nintendo unbox a Switch in the first allowed video

Nintendo has jumped the gun and released a Switch unboxing video about a day before media and influencers will be permitted to upload their own. As you’ve probably seen on social media, critics have only been able to show the outside of the box so far.

The Nintendo Minute YouTube show actually takes 11 minutes to unbox the Switch, showing off each of its components in quite a bit of depth, from a marketing perspective.

Community managers Kit and Krysta spend about two minutes admiring every angle of the box before finally opening the lid to display the console and Joy-Cons laid out ready to be removed. Both the Switch and each Joy-Con come in protective plastic.
